No doubt this has been a challenging year, but it made our essential job as a PPE provider more vital than ever before. So, despite the ups and downs, we never stopped providing new PPE products and innovations to keep you safe at work, at home, and in the world.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
To meet the tremendous demand for respiratory protection, we began offering four new PPE masks for general hygiene use. These included a KN95-Rated Mask, disposable Ear-Loop Masks for adults and children, and a Protective Face Shield.
We also added washable Multi-Tubes to our collection of COLD SNAP™ Cooling Products. Available in several colors, they can be worn a variety of ways, including over the mouth and nose.
HAND PROTECTION
Along with respiratory protection, we’ve sourced several new disposable gloves to meet the surge in demand for Disposable Hand Protection. These include black, nitrile, 6 mil Medical-Grade Exam Gloves and blue, nitrile 3 mil Medical-Grade Exam Gloves.
We are also offering a new, black, 3.5 mil Vinyl/Nitrile Disposable Glove (coming soon) and blue, 3.0 mil Vinyl/Nitrile Disposable Glove.
High-performance glove innovation continued, as we introduced several new High-Performance, Cut-Resistant Gloves to our existing wide selection. These include the following:
OGRE-CRX™ Gloves with CORDOVA CRX™ fiber and Sonic-Welded TPR, available in three cut-resistant levels of protection:
TUF-COR™ Splash-Resistant Gloves featuring two-layer nitrile coatings and ANSI A4 cut-level protection in four available styles
We also added three new, goatskin Cut-Resistant Leather Gloves to our Caliber™ line of gloves. These Goatskin Leather Gloves offer ANSI A5 Cut-Level Protection and are available with or without TPR. The Caliber-GT™ #8507 features a spandex back, goatskin leather palm and TPR.
These are just some of glove innovations we’ve provided for you this year. And let’s not forget the Butyl Chemical Gloves, TUF-COR Touch™ Gloves, and Tactyle #6670 with PVO2 technology.
BODY PROTECTION
New Hi-Vis Body Protection apparel in 2020 included a heavy-duty, quilted, Hi-Vis Parka and matching Hi-Vis Bib Pants, along with a lighter, weather-resistant Hi-Vis Windbreaker.
