CORDOVA Donates Supplies to Church Health Center to Fight Covid-19
CORDOVA SAFETY PRODUCTS recently donated vital safety supplies to the Church Health Center in the fight against the coronavirus.
Memphis-based CORDOVA SAFETY has been supplying industrial and retail customers personal protection equipment (PPE) for 25 years, but this was something altogether different.
“We felt it was our duty and obligation to help where we could,” said General Manager Jimmy Garbuzinski. “We were more than happy to do so for an organization like Church Health Center with passionate professionals who are on the front lines of the Covid crisis and who are dedicated to improving health outcomes for underserved Memphians.”
The donations consisted of disposable gloves, protective masks, goggles, and microporous disposable coveralls.
As shelter-in-place and stay-at-home orders have become the norm, CORDOVA SAFETY PRODUCTS has been identified as an essential business and continues to operate under normal hours.
Much of the product CORDOVA SAFETY provides is manufactured overseas, so they, too, are quickly running low on inventory but are dedicated to meeting the surge in demand from their customers and working quickly with manufacturers to provide alternative solutions.
“When this is over, and hopefully that will be soon, our company and our employees want to ensure that we helped make a small contribution to our community where we all live and work,” said Garbuzinski.
CORDOVA SAFETY remains open for business while following all established protocols including social distancing and remote working for team members where possible.
“We are so blessed to have an organization like CORDOVA SAFETY PRODUCTS supporting our community in these times,” said Randy Kostiuk of Church Health. “They were able supply us with necessary supplies to help keep our staff, patients and community safe.”.
