The CORDOVA-brand Cold Snap™ Cooling Towels are comprised of super-absorbent PVA fabric that accelerates the cooling process. Simply soak with water, wring out excess, and snap & shake to activate the cooling process. Cold Snap™ Cooling Towels stay cold for hours. They relieve heat stress through an evaporation process. When the towel begins to dry, simply wet and reuse. When finished, store the towel in the Cold Snap™ storage tube for future use.

FAQ's
What is PVA?
ColdSnap Cooling Towels are constructed of PVA (polyvinyl alcohol/acetal) which is an organic “man-made” sponge material. PVA is super absorbent and can hold more than five times its weight of water.
How does it work?
ColdSnap towels and bands produce a long-lasting cooling effect through simple evaporation. As the water evaporates, the PVA creates a cooling sensation. Once saturated with water and exposed to air, the evaporation process will start and cool the towels to 10-15 degrees below the ambient temperature.
How long does it last?
The cooling effect can last up to four hours depending on the humidity level. If you are in a low humidity environment, it may be necessary to rewet your towels more often.
How to Use
Run the PVA cooling towel under water for one minute or until saturated, wring out excess water and twirl or snap in the air for no-drip cooling. Drape the towel
around neck or head for instant cooling relief. PVA towels will dry stiff, simply rewet until soft to activate, and it’s ready to go again.
How to Wash
ColdSnap towels and bands include a microbial treatment to minimize mildew and odors. Before storing, examine product for dirt and debris. If soiled, hand wash or machine wash then store in plastic tubing container for safe keeping. If the towel has been stored damp for a long period of time and develops mildew or an odor, add 1 tablespoon bleach to 1 gallon of warm water and allow the towel to soak for an hour or two. Then, rinse thoroughly to remove any bleach residue. The towel can now be washed in the washing machine to remove any residual stains. Hang the towel to dry, or place the towel in a storage container. When storing the towel, (once washed) you may want to use the original storage tube that was included with the towel or store in a Ziploc bag for safe keeping. But the towel can also be hung and stored dry. (Simply rewet the towel to use again)
Product Safety
PVA sponge material is chemically inert, non-toxic and safe to use. As with all products, there could be individuals who might have allergic sensitivities. If any type of allergic reaction occurs, please discontinue use and seek medical care. FYI: our products have been on the market for more than five years and there have been no reports of allergic sensitivities.
